Letter from Brian Kirschling- past ICCSD Board Member

Glass would bring needed fresh voice

Serving in public office is an onerous task that requires making personal sacrifices and taking blistering criticism for the greater good of the community. Thankfully, there are a number of good candidates this year that have risen to the challenge.

In the Iowa City Council race, I am excited to see Jason Glass throw his hat in the ring. Glass is a friend from the Hawkeye Marching Band and already serves his community on the Human Rights Commission, the National Guard, the IC Community Theater, and by teaching human resources at the university. I enjoy hearing his perspective on complicated issues as he takes a meticulous and analytical approach to problem-solving. I always learn something new from him and his voice will be a great addition to the council with the departure of Susan Mims.

Support Glass for Iowa City Council. Our community needs his perspective at the table.
